TO DISCUSS ANY MATTERS RAISED BY RESIDENTS
Some residents have reported an unpleasant smell emanating from the
land of a local farmer. Cllr Lifsey reported that the Environment Agency had
been contacted and, following an officer’s visit, it has been clarified that
operations are being carried out in accordance with procedure. |

COMMUNITY POLICING
PC Sowerby advised by email that the Beat Manager should be present
at parish council meetings in July, September and November, also that
a brief report will be forwarded on the occasions when this is not
possible.
SY Police also submitted report for the past month: Burglary Other
- 1; Theft of motor vehicle - 1; theft from motor vehicle - 1; criminal
damage - 2 to motor vehicles, 1 to building, 2 misc. |

Replacement tree planting - Cllr Honcharenko advised Walkers Nurseries
had quoted c£30 plus c£20 planting, for a Whitebeam.
RESOLVED to accept the quotation and Cllr Honcharenko will liaise
with Walkers re siting.
To consider trimming of holly hedge and weeds in car park - this was
considered but it was felt that only an annual trim is required. |

07/00877/FUL - erection of 3 detached houses (being substitution of
house types previously granted permission, land at Gatehouse Lane, Auckley
- no objections to either of above
07/00699/WCC - continued use of Rural Pursuits Shop (without compliance
of condition 6 of previous permission granted, ie no guns to be fired
or displayed) - Object on grounds that if it was necessary to include this condition
in the first instance there is no reason why it should now be removed.
07/01112/FT - increase in overall roof height in connection with formation
of rooms in roof space, erection of pitched roof canopy to front,
first floor pitched roof extn above existing to side and single storey
pitched roof extn following demolition of existing to rear, Stanlea,

RESPONSE FROM YRCC RE FUNDING APPLICATION PARISH PLAN
The Clerk reported that the application submitted was successful and
the sum of £2,500 has been allocated. However, this is subject
to terms and conditions and if not utilised will require to be paid back. |

HIGHWAY ISSUES
RESOLVED to report issues for attention to DMBC.
Ponding, The Green (vicinity of Manor Farm) - DMBC advise the area
has been inspected but no ponding/blocked gullies evident - area will
be monitored.
Bus stop/shelter no. 45319/786E301 Doncaster Road - letter from SYPTE
asking for views on replacement of the existing shelter with a new
style which would have full sides for weather protection.
RESOLVED that the existing structure should remain and that DMBC be
asked if this could be listed. |
